This tape gun is the most frustrating device I have used in a while. The screws holding the cutter to the frame stripped out and the gun flew apart. I was unable to find the springs for the cutter. The tape included is great, but the gun is terrible.

I was soooo resistant to getting the Yellow or Red ATG, first because of the size, second because of the price. All of my scrapping friends assured me that the size was not a problem and swore by this adhesive and dispenser. So, when the Pink ATG came out, and was available on a deal of the day site for a great price, I decided that it was finally time to try it out (I mean you can't pass up a good deal right?). It was a little awkward at first, getting used to the size, but that only took one scrapping session to get used to. What I initially disliked, but now LOVE is that the adhesive is VERY, VERY PERMANENT! I MEAN PERMANENT. Once you adhere 2 surfaces together, they are not coming apart! However, if you put the adhesive down but DO NOT adhere another surface to the surface you originally put the adhesive on, you can roll it off, like a snot ball. So there is an opportunity to remove the adhesive if you put it down in the wrong place as long as you do not adhere anything to it. The adhesive also lasts a REALLY long time, so you are not constantly buying adhesive! It is a big bang for your buck!

I am a scrapbooker, collage artist, card maker. I own two xyrons, a glue glider, and have been through practically every adhesive item (zots, fiskars glue dots, double sided tapes, adhesive sheets, etc) before Scotch came out with this very reasonably priced, excellent product. The only thing that sort of scared me was loading and winding the thing, and after watching demonstrations of how to do just that on youtube, I was able to do it with ease. This is the longest lasting, most effective, easy to use adhesive out there. Compared to Tombos and the like, it lasts forever! It can't do things like cricut cut delicate lettering, but that isn't what it was made to do. The adhesive itself is not as strong as the glue glider, but I went through three glue glider cartridges that all jammed up after just a few uses. You can't beat the ATG as far as cost.

Love this. It's bigger than it appears online. Great color and quality - this design company Kikkerland does good stuff. I also got their paper clips and a journal. I was a little concerned about functionality before I ordered it - would it be easy enough to grab the tape? Because looking at the picture and comparing it to other non-design based dispensers (ie. ugly but functional), I thought they might be easier to actually use with regularity - BUT - actually no problem at all because it is bigger than it appears, there is plenty of room to grab the tape and tear it off. I just got a mid century modern desk, and this looks great on it! Thanks Kikkerland.

This is tape. This tape works like other tapes. This tape is translucent. I like this tape. I would recommend this tape.
I actually was buying a few things and at the time this qualified for free shipping... so I took advantage of it and it saved me from going to the local store.

This tape made by 3M Scotch is just about as magical as you're ever gonna get in the world of tape! Just as the ads say, it sticks well after you apply it so that whatever you taped together stays together. It does remain almost invisible; and that's a good thing, too. It just plain looks better being as inconspicuous as possible after you've used it.
This tape is very nicely priced at $1.66 a roll; you won't find a better price in my supermarket! At first it appears to cost slightly more than another Scotch tape that is packaged very similarly to this; but that tape is 300 inches long and this tape is 1000 inches long. The packaging is well done. You merely remove one roll of tape (or more, depending on how much you need); then you can either insert the tape into a tape dispenser or you can just use scissors to cut the roll of tape at whatever length you wish. This makes this type of Scotch tape very economical for home offices, small offices or schools.
Overall, this is a great product that I have used my whole life long without any dissatisfaction. It is much stickier than other, cheaper brands of tape and it holds things together for ages. A great tape!

This Matte Finish "Magic" Tape is so much better than the generic types for most uses. It goes on totally clear on most paper, it is very strong, and the matte finish doesn't easily reflect light so it doesn't draw attention to itself.
The brand name "Scotch" has become a "proprietary eponym" for this type of clear tape, along the same lines as Band-Aid, Kleenex, and Saran wrap for their respective products. This generally happens only when a product is the best of its kind and has become the de-facto standard. This is certainly the case for Scotch Tape.
It may cost a little more, but it generally worth it. Highly Recommended!

I have been selling a lot of stuff on eBay lately and I have to pack a lot of boxes. Duck Brand Crystal Clear is a very thick tape, not the paper-thin type that tears into weird designs unintentionally - so you need to knick it with a utility knife to tear it. You don't end up with fringe on the roll like you do with the thinner tapes that requires a magnifying glass and adept finger nails to extract.

I've been shipping my products for a year now with this tape. It less expensive than the same quality 3M. The tape is strong and it is easy to use. Cheap tapes shred and the adhesive is stonger than the tape. No so with this HIGH PERFORMANCE packaging tape (don't get the commercial-grade tape.
